2024 Erie Street Asphalt Resurfacing

The City of Stratford is planning to resurface Erie Street between Ontario Street and Monteith Avenue, beginning in the summer of 2024.

The specific improvements scheduled for the street are:

• Asphalt resurfacing.
• Maintenance hole and catchbasin adjustments.
• Intersection curb radius improvements.
• Intersection signal infrastructure improvements at the West Gore Intersection.
• Widening of the roadway surface (1 meter) from St. Patrick Street to Monteith Street
• Localized curb and sidewalk replacement to accommodate the road widening.
• Boulevard grading.
• Reinstate pavement markings.
• Removal of trees in poor health or those in conflict with new infrastructure.
• Street tree planting.

Erie Street will be reduced to two lanes of traffic for construction.
