The City of Stratford’s annual asphalt resurfacing program is set to begin on June 11th. The streets to be resurfaced are:
Willow Street from Canterbury Avenue to Devon Street (1.2 km)
Downie Street from Lorne Avenue East to the CN Rail Crossing (1.3 km)
Regent Street from Front Street to King Street (0.56 km)
Britannia Street from the Churchill Circle to Mornington Street (0.5 km)
Delamere Avenue from Mornington Street to Romeo Street (0.95 km)
The resurfacing activities primarily relate to rehabilitating the roadway by asphalt milling partial or full depth, paving new base and surface asphalt layers, adjusting maintenance holes and catchbasin structures, and curb repairs.
