Council Workshop #3

This is an open (public), educational workshop for Councillors.

The final workshop on the Grand Trunk Renewal Project brings together information from the first two sessions to support Council in identifying a clear path forward for the site.

Building on a shared understanding of context, constraints, and opportunities, this session focuses on key considerations and proposed approaches for advancing the project.

Councillors will be guided through major project components, including long-term financial planning, the community facility, parking, and the existing superstructure and housing. The session will highlight how these elements interrelate, financial implications and approaches to moving each forward.

No decisions will be made at the workshop. The goal is to provide the Council with the opportunity to receive and discuss information to support future decision-making. Formal recommendations will be considered at the April 27 Regular Council meeting.
