The City of Stratford is preparing to reconstruct Queen Street from Regent Street to Brunswick Street, beginning in the Summer of 2026. The project will replace underground infrastructure and renew the roadway and sidewalks.

The specific improvements scheduled for this street are:

  • Upgrade the existing storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water mains.
  • Replace existing sanitary, storm and water services to the property line.
  • Upgrade the asphalt roadway, curb and gutter, and sidewalk.
  • Construction of one sidewalk on the east side of Queen Street (eliminating the west sidewalk).
  • Removal of trees in poor health or in conflict with infrastructure renewal.
  • Street tree planting.

    The City of Stratford is preparing to reconstruct Queen Street from the Regent Street to Brunswick Street, beginning in the Summer of 2026.

    The personal information requested on this questionnaire is being collected by The Corporation of the City of Stratford as part of stakeholder engagement and public input into the Avon Street and Avondale Avenue Road Reconstruction Project. Personal information as defined by Section 2 of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, and in accordance with the provisions of the MFIPPA. Your participation is voluntary. All individual responses are submitted as part of an open online and public process. Comments received will be summarized and provided in a report to Stratford City Council in accordance with the provisions of the MFIPPA.
