The City of Stratford is developing a new Recreation and Leisure Master Plan to help guide the future of recreation, facilities, parks and programs offered in Stratford.
The Master Plan will serve as a long-term planning tool to support informed decision-making and help ensure municipal services continue to meet the changing needs of residents, community groups, and visitors.
It will set priorities and outline actionable recommendations to enhance recreation and leisure throughout Stratford.
The City has hired McQueen Galloway Associates (MGA) for this project. MGA has experience working with growing communities and will work closely with City staff, Council, and the community throughout the planning process.
Public engagement for the Recreation and Leisure Master Plan will begin soon, and opportunities to provide your input will be listed in the Key Dates section at right. A survey will also be available here in the coming weeks.
Feedback from the community will help to confirm local priorities, assess current and future needs, and inform final recommendations for the Recreation and Leisure Master Plan.
