The Study

The City of Stratford is updating the 2003 Sanitary Master Plan. The goal is to ensure the City’s sanitary sewer infrastructure can support current and future needs of the growing Stratford community.

This Master Plan study:

  • Reviews existing wastewater servicing infrastructure
  • Assesses future conditions and servicing needs
  • Identifies and evaluates solutions to meet growth plans

Alternative solutions have been developed and evaluated to find the preferred wastewater and stormwater servicing strategies for both existing and future developments.

Study Process

This study follows the Master Planning process under Phases 1 and 2 of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA), as outlined by the Municipal Engineers Association (2023 guidelines). A Master Plan document will be prepared as part of this process.
