Paving equipment on new asphalt roadThe City of Stratford’s annual asphalt resurfacing program is set to begin on July 17th. The streets to be resurfaced are:

  • Ontario Street from Parkview Drive to Waterloo Street (1000m)
  • John Street from Huron Street to Queensland Road (1650m)

This work will include full asphalt removal, asphalt paving, localized curb replacement, maintenance hole adjustments, and reinstatement of pavement markings.

Ontario Street will be reduced to two lanes of traffic for construction.

    Regularly scheduled garbage, green bin, yard waste and blue box collection will be maintained and coordinated by the Contractor. In order to ensure that your waste receptacles are returned following collection, please label your address on the outside. Please have your material at the end of your driveway on regularly scheduled collection days by 7:00 a.m.
