Paving equipment on new asphalt roadThe City of Stratford’s annual asphalt resurfacing program is set to begin on August 19th. The streets to be resurfaced are:

  • Devon Street from 70m east of Pleasant Drive to Avonwood Drive South,
  • Greenwood Drive, and
  • West Gore Street from John Street to the Water Pollution Control Plant entrance.

The resurfacing activities primarily relate to rehabilitating the roadway by asphalt milling partial or full depth, paving new base and surface asphalt layers, adjusting maintenance holes and catchbasin structures, and curb and gutter repairs.

    The paving of Greenwood Drive is scheduled to start November 11th and will take 2 days to complete.
