Albert Street Reconstruction - Phase 2

The City of Stratford is preparing to reconstruct Albert Street from Front Street to King Street, beginning in the Spring of 2025. The project will replace underground infrastructure and renew the roadway and sidewalks.

The specific improvements scheduled for this street are:

• Upgrade the existing storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water mains.
• Replace existing sanitary, storm and water services to the property line.
• Upgrade the asphalt roadway curb and gutter, and sidewalks.
• Implementation of traffic calming measures to promote active transportation.
• Removal of trees in poor health or in conflict with infrastructure renewal.
• Street tree planting.
