Information Update - Aug. 24, 2026

Preparation work continues on the new Countryside Park planned for the lands just west of the Rotary Complex.

The developer is currently grading the property before turning it over to the City of Stratford for the park.

After gathering public input and feedback, we now have a concept plan that has been approved by the Board of Park Management. It's available here in the Documents section on the right side of this project page.

Once the design of the new park is finalized and a budget approved by Council, the project will proceed. A definite timeline on when construction will begin has not been established yet.
