The City of Stratford is preparing to reconstruct Huron Street from John Street to Matilda Street, beginning in the Spring of 2026. The project will replace underground infrastructure and renew the roadway and sidewalks.
The specific improvements scheduled for this street are:
Upgrade the existing storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water mains.
Replace existing sanitary, storm and water services to the property line.
Upgrade the asphalt roadway, curb and gutter, and sidewalks.
Upgrading the street light illumination at intersections, and
Upgrading the Foreman Avenue signalized intersection infrastructure.
